Agreed. Another mickey mouse decision.
They'd have been better removing it totally. There seems to be an awful lot of woolly thinking going on.

Pick TV+1 has ceased transmission on Freeview as at 2pm today. Challenge has moved multiplexes and is now available on Mux C (pre-switchover), Arqiva A (post-switchover) 24 hours a day across the whole of the UK. Same channel number, different frequency.

Some boxes may show Challenge on Pick TV+1's channel until retuning.

Freeview announcement: http://www.freeview.co.uk/Resolution...iew-channel-44.

What does the Challenge move mean for people in the West Midlands and Yorkshire? I haven't retuned because we all have to retune tomorrow anyway, but have they moved it to Arqiva A or did they move it to the other one, only for it to move again tomorrow?

I'm in the East Midlands, but in an area where TV aerials are pointed West in the direction of Sutton Coldfield. Expecting Freeview HD tomorrow, but does anyone know roughly what time? I've invested in a £30 Tesco Freeview HD box to make sure I can receive it without an aerial upgrade, and I'm keen to see what happens.

The old Challenge didn't show up on 795 here (in Scotland), just on 800.

Oh, interesting! Does that mean that SDN is still regionalised for Scotland for legacy reasons, even though the output is no different any more?

You may wish to pose that question in a separate thread, as it would take the Log further off topic. Thanks.
