Just to add to the above log post by tompayne (thanks):

Not in London, Meridian, Tyne Tees or Ulster regions.
Confirmed post switchover regions only. A retune is only needed if you want to continue watching this channel. Receivers that do not auto-retune will not have the above message on 795.

I think the situation so far is this:

Old 'Rocks & Co' stream:
(05:00 - 08:00) [Vacant]
(08:00 - 13:00) QVC Beauty
(13:00 - 18:00) Rocks & Co
(18:00 - 23:00) Al Jazeera
(23:00 - 05:00) ADULT Babest

New 'Rocks & Co' stream:
(05:00 - 08:00) [Vacant]
(08:00 - 13:00) QVC Beauty
(13:00 - 23:00) Rocks & Co
(23:00 - 05:00) ADULT Babest

New Arq B stream:
(05:00 - 08:00) - currently unknown
(08:00 - 13:00) - currently unknown
(13:00 - 18:00) Big Deal
(18:00 - 23:00) Al Jazeera
(23:00 - 05:00) - currently unknown

Potential there for QVC Beauty to gain hours on the new stream, as well as Al Jazeera to expand over night. Of course there is the option of the usual adult chat overnight service, but surely their audience is spread very thinly now (especially considering the alleged demise of ADULT redhot).

There is also the old Big Deal hours (in Post-DSO areas only), which I believe can not be used for Big Deal as they can not share an LCN over 2 mux's?

and a caption saying they return at 11pm

The old Big Deal (on Mux C) is now LCN 795.

It's still showing EPG data - but I guess will not actually transmit.

In all areas LCN191 ADULT redhotTV has closed down and is showing a caption saying it has moved to LCN93 Television X.

This is so that TVX can replace redhot. TVX was on the stream being taken over for Channel 5+1 and is being cleared. It will now be timesharing with LCN30 5* from midnight to 4am leaving a vacancy from 4am to 6am on that stream.

It's getting a bit confusing, so here's a summary of what's happening.

>>> Changes on Arqiva A/B post DSO following the activation of an additional stream using extra created by the FEC change with what appears to be temporary channels. The following does not apply in London, Meridian, Tyne Tees and Ulster TV regions.

Rocks and Co has extended hours (Ray Cathode),in post-switchover regions (a516), and now transmits from 1300-2300. You do not need to retune for this particular change.

More information & discussion: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1592566

Big Deal has moved multiplex from Arqiva A to Arqiva B in post-switchover regions only and has extended hours to 2300-1800. If your equipment does not autoscan, you need to retune if you wish to view this channel. The old slot on Arqiva A will shunt to channel 795 (and will do automatically on autoscanning equipment). (tompayne)

More information & discussion: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1592702

Al Jazeera English has moved to the new eleventh stream on Arqiva B in post-switchover regions, but this should go unnoticed by your equipment and you do not have to retune.
Technical information about the FEC change, and what it means can be found at: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1553271 (Kruador)

>>> Changes on SDN/Mux A as a result of a stream being cleared for the launch of C5+1 next Tuesday. The following applies to all viewers with the full Freeview service.

From 06/12/2011 GOLD/ Home getting revised hours and being slotted in before ESPN. (Pete1)

More information in the following thread in the Top Up TV section of Digital Spy: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1587796

From 06/12/2011 Top Up TV Anytime 3 being slotted in overnights possibly during the times when C5+1 wouldn't be able to broadcast due to gambling. (Ray Cathode)

More information & discussion: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1592194

From today, LCN 93 TVX moving to the 5* stream, content from 191 being merged together with 93 into one channel. Service on LCN 191 now closed. (Ray Cathode). On air times have changed to 0000-0400.

More information & discussion: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1591362
The placeholder for C5+1 is still pending.

Thanks, I've already been emailed about this. My problem is that I was looking in the parent screen listing all the threads, and expecting to be able to subscribe to one or more of them as a single operation.

They disappeared for a lot of people a couple of weeks ago.

Reception is now very flaky since they shoe-horned 4 extra channels onto the Mux.

Ahh okay thanks. The reception was very good when I was watching something last night and then suddenly my TV jumped to BBC 1. I thought I sat on the remote or something.

Channel 5+1 has now appeared with an MHEG screen on LCN44.

Surprisingly, TopUp Anytime 5 and TopUp Anytime 6 have also appeared, on LCNs 310 and 311 respectively.

Er, no, Channel 5+1 has been launched on LCN 44, Pick TV+1 closed down some time ago. Anyway, all of this has already been logged.
