No it couldn't; it only broadcasts for 19 hours, not 24
.... and in any case the 6pm-1am programmes are a repeat of the 6am-6pm programmes.

1st May 2009 LCN43 Gems TV ceases broadcasting on Freeview. All the streams and SI are still there but the video and audio plugs have been pulled. Source: Direct Observation. Gems TV now have no references to Freeview on their website. http://www.gemstv.co.uk/TV/tv-home.jsp

Note Gems TV broadcast on Mux D Film4 space from 0945-1245 and it was stated in this C4 application http://www.ofcom.org.uk/radiocomms/d...s2nd/c4s4c.pdf for HD space to Ofcon that Film4 was starting earlier at 11am from March 2009

5.3 We intend to broadcast the extended version of our Film4 service in HD UKwide from the hours of 11am to 4am (Film4’s transmission hours will be extended by two hours in March 2009).

Yes, same here from Bristol Ilchester Crescent. But the MHEG screen is still there on LCN43 giving the broadcast times not only on LCN43 but also LCN44 .

Pretty professional outfit, aren't they?

Hello, Hartcliffe - Bishopsworth here .

Try your scan again - I'm seeing LCN43 and LCN44 from Ilchester Crescent (and LCN26 still has the service name UKTV Style and not 'Home' ).

Smile TV 2 is now on Mux D (ArqivaB/COM3), previously Mux A (SDN/COM1).
(It's appearance is likely to be connected with Ideal World selling overnight hours. To keep the changelog uncluttered, see the relevant threads in the forum for further discussion.

Here is the full Freeview line up as at 12th May 2009, incorporating all the changes that took place today.

As at posting, more up-to-date than the Digital Spy EPG Guide!

Further changes have been announced for the next week, notably on Mux A (SDN), so if you don't need to rescan, don't just yet

Channels marked with '>' are part of the reduced service carried on relay sites in post DSO areas. Channels in bold highlight today's changes.

I do not receive 501 from the Crystal Palace transmitter (it's not on the EPG, and direct entry of channel 501 doesn't work either).

I do have this one though:

45 Lottery Xtra
