All five HD streams are now active at 1920x1080 and LCN304 is simulcasting 301 in HD for the first time with real moving video. The torch cam is not really good HD material unfortunately.

BBC SD Olympic config changes in London:

BBC NEWS & BBC FOUR resolution reduced to 544x576 from 720x576

BBC ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR main audio reduced to 192k joint stereo from 256kbps full stereo.

Freeview Olympic changes: BBC Parliament has closed to a Mheg caption for 24/7 BBC THREE and 302 is timesharing with CBBC instead of BBC THREE. In pre DSO areas CBBC is now on LCN73. (To be confirmed)

302 is similar to 301 with 544x576 res and two audio channels (192k & 128k). At 2am the second 302 audio was not working.

All direct observation in London region.

BBC 301 HD (LCN 304) is continuing to broadcast for at least a few days after the Olympics, simulcasting with 301. Programming is mostly Radio 1 music shows and highlights of the Olympics.

BBC Parliament will be returning to Freeview at 6pm on Wednesday.

With the conclusion of the Olympics, the BBC HD simulcast with BBC Three has now ended and both have now returned to normal programming. 3D coverage of the closing ceremony on BBC HD at 9pm.

The BBC A mux in London has been restored to pre Olympic configuration except 302 is still hanging around as a caption. All bitrates and resolutions are back to normal as they were.

Same from the Waltham transmitter. BBC Parliament is back. Only problem is EPG not showing BBC Parliament's programming.
