Tomee, any chance you can stop posting news on here and stick to posting actual changes when they happen?
I'd just like to repeat this as it appears to have fallen on deaf ears.

If you have NEWS to post, open a new thread (or add to an existing relevant one).

This thread is for ACTUAL CHANGES THAT HAVE HAPPENED.

NB: Minor changes to programme content don't constitute a change for the purposes of this thread. Things that should be reported in the changelog include:
* A new channel launch (ie. a new LCN has been added)
* A channel has changed (ie. an LCN has had a channel name change OR the channel itself has changed but the LCN has not caught up, NOT individual programme changes)
* A change in broadcast hours (ie. time-sharing changes NOT the broadcast of an animated caption or teleshopping overnight changing hours)

I'll let a516 clarify if I've missed anything or made a mistake. Beyond that, please open a new thread if you wish to discuss this.

GOD TV on Ch 235 now active as an IPTV channel - no menu as on the other IPTV channels to select GOD TV, it just appears full screen.

As seen today on my TVOnics DTR-HD500 Freeview HD box (Hannington transmitter).

"91" and "100" have appeared on LCN 791 and LCN 792 respectively. Both show as "No Service" when selected.

Direct observation when my TV said New Channels Found

Did a re-scan of my Freeview HD TV in anticipation of the announced changes today - October 17th - nothing has happened to the guide yet, but a message popped up to announce that the changes were happening in the next few hours, so I'll re-scan agin later.

All I know is that the Freeview HD channels are moving, but is there any confirmation to any other proposed changes?! I recall Sky putting in a objection that has delayed changes for nearly a month.

Has Sky's concerns been resolved and will we see any more TV/Radio channel changes today beyond the HD channels moving to 101-104?

This is not a discussion thread so I refer you to the main thread http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1741572 where all of this (and more) is explained.

LCNs 91 and 100 have been removed from ARQA this lunchtime. They were MHEG captions which had replaced the adult channel bookends.

Source: direct observation from Winter Hill
Discussion: not here (perhaps here: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1741572 )

Edit- the LCN entries for these 2 channels have been removed from the LCN table - so on a rescan they will not be found. However the MHEG PID(s) is/are still being broadcast, so if you already have the channels in your channel list they still appear to be functioning.

Both now show "No Service" so they are now gone completely.

Just flicking through the HD channels on my Freeview HD box & noticed on channel 104 it says "Channel4 HD launches here on 2nd December"....also it is Welsh. So the placeholder for the replacement of S4C Clirlun to channel4 hd is in place.

LCN 57 has appeared on the Greater Manchester mux at 11am this morning - service title is "HIGH STREET TV". As of yet there are no video or audio PIDs - so it's not yet a running TV service, no doubt that will follow shortly.

Apologies if I've missed something, but I'm confused.

We do most of our viewing via FreeSAT, but our FreeVIEW telly has just done a retune and now channel number 4 is carrying S4C instead of 'CH4'.
Ch4 has been moved up to number 8, knocking BBC4 up to 9. What the ****? This doesn't seem to make much sense - is it permanent or just part of (yet) another switcheroo?

BBC Four has always been EPG 9, 8 used to be blank in England but is going to be used for local TV in the future.

You're clearly picking up a signal from a Welsh transmitter and it's prioritising that over the nearest English transmitter (probably because it's stronger).
