Just flicking through channels - Jewellery Maker (from Gems TV) is now on Marketplace; for which as reported earlier is now 24/7.
Perhaps Marketplace is owned by Channel 5 since Jewellery Maker is on the downtime for 5*? To bring in some ratings revenue (if that) with the partnership with Gems TV to fund towards 5Later? |

Connect 2, which has never had anything on it, has moved from SDN to ARQ B. I imagine this is because Arqiva own Connect TV and would rather have these on their own mux.

COM8 broadcasting null packets from Winter Hill
First sighting of COM8 being broadcast - C37 is currently transmitting a mux containing only null packets from Winter Hill. C31 is simultaneously transmitting COM7 also full of null packets. So Winter Hill is currently transmitting nine muxes in total.

not shown up on my youview box (bought from currys)
Visit www.digitaluk.co.uk/coveragechecker to see if you're in the current or forthcoming coverage area for extra Freeview HD services. Type your postcode, tick the "detailed view" checkbox and see if "COM7" is listed on the next page, which details the transmitters you should be able to receive a service from. In the COM7 column, the figures should be as close to 100 as possible, with green boxes showing a good reception prognosis (wideband aerial may be required in some areas). Note also the dates along the left of the screen, showing how reception may change over time, or when COM7 will become available in your area. As this is a changelog thread, please find out more and raise any further enquiries in the following discussion thread: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1914085 |

LCN 53- Sony SAB has been deleted from the G_MAN Manchester mux this morning. The service data was deleted at approx 10:20 while the mux was off air due to a fault[1] - when the mux returned at approx 11:50 LCN 53 was no longer there.

Would I be right in thinking that the caption on LCN 105 is a video stream with a still image and no sound? I ask because the MHEG ones like 106 and 107 show no video config at the top on my TV.
When I switch to 105 it shows "1080i/50 Hz" in the top left for a few seconds. Can anyone confirm this is a video stream now rather than MHEG? It may be on 73 during the day. Thanks. |

Internet streamed channel Propeller TV has now gone live on 'connected Freeview' channel 229. It's the former 'Connect 2' channel.
