Please explain how she is a chav.

Her behaviour, attitude, dress sense, lack of intelligence, and basic all round chaviness.....in my opinion!

You can tell her "lack of intelligence" from the 3 minutes she's been on screen?
Her attitude and behaviour AFTER she has been insulted and criticised for the last 5 weeks.
Her dress sense, when she dresses like a normal 24 year old :S
All round chaviness - explain?

In her defence Roxanne has a degree. Its only in media studies, but she does have a degree. So she can't be that unintelligent.

Interesting that you think I arrived at my opinion purely on what we saw tonight: sorry, tonight merely re-confirmed my opinion, it didn't create it.

She demonstrated to me, yet again, she is a chav.

It was embarrassing because it didn't even make sense. It just made her look childish and none too bright.

So you can tell her lack of intelligence since she's been on the show? I don't think she's done anything that warrants that.

However, despite her "degree", she frequently has made/makes rather unintelligent comments.

I agree.

I'm no fan of Jason, but her comeback was cringeworthy. I think she's had a brain transplant with a 6 year old.

Have you read my posts or are you merely taking pot shots at me because you don't agree - either way, I still believe she is a gobby unpleasant chav.

I don't really understand the problem, I thought it was a fairly light-hearted comment hardly said viciously and it wasn't exactly "stupid" either I've seen skaters speak harshly back to him before and Roxanne hasn't been one of them. And in ANY case, although he was giving some constructive criticism, he was also a tad mean with it too, which I couldn't care less about, but it's fair enough she came back with a sarcastic comment like that. Of course I'm partly saying this cos I thought she was massively undermarked too which made even his constructive criticism seem unfair to me, but either way I don't know what the hell everyone's going on about.

I applaud Roxanne for saying what she did. She's not a chav, as some idiots have suggested she is, and I thought she skated rather well.
Jason is a horrible, nasty, creep, who doesn't know the first thing about ice dancing (neither does Ruthie come to that) who throws out personal insults, instead of judging the actual performance.

I think next year Daniel Whiston should be given a sack of spuds as a partner - he can make anything in a skirt look good. Just drags them around, makes them look wonderful, they get the points but he does 99% of the work!

Ah right, you choose to defend her chaviness by calling posters (me, perhaps?) an idiot.............oh the irony!

Everyone - no, NEARLY everyone - condemns Jason for his rudeness, but I don't think Roxanne has done herself any favours ..... she sort of brought herself down to his level.

That besides, all the judges seemed to give her a low score - wasn't she on par with Coleen, or only just above her? Yet, she seemed to do a lovely routine, very graceful, and as much as I like Coleen, she was certainly not as good as Roxanne.

I feel sorry for Roxanne and she was alot more polite than what i was shouting at him threw my tv. Jason makes it very clear he dislikes her and his comments are in a way nasty, there was no need to say the dentist thing nor the sack of potatoes she knows the lift went wrong. All that was needed was something like the lift was disapointing or obviously the lift went wrong. He gives Roxanne the worst insults yet theres people like Todd, Colleen, Ellery, Donal and Melinda that are all, IMO, roughly on the same level or lower than Roxanne, yet he manages to say tell them what they did wrong in a nice enough way.

I think they should stop going to Jason for Roxannes performance as hes just plain nasty to the girl, its just a entertainment show (yes a effectively a competition but hardly anything major serious) and shes trying her best.

That i totally agree with, same with last week i thought her routine was undermarked

But I suppose the celebs are goaded into saying something rude back and show no respect at all to judges who know their trade.”

I thought she was extremely rude.

The whole point of the judges being there is to give their point of view on the performance.

Jason was correct in what he said - she did resemble a sack of potatoes being swung around in that final move.

I agree about the 'almost-headbanger'!!! If you can't do it properly, then don't do it at all! Going into it from a lying down on the ice position was ridiculous.

Yeah I thought that was a bit silly, they usually go in to it when they are skating don't they?

If Jason speaks week after week about Roxanne in the way he does then he deserves what he gets and besides she was asked to reply to his comments and she did. I like her attitude she does not stand on the stage like a dumb bimbo like some of the other females on the show.

I don't think she was rude. Jason was far more rude.

I think Roxy made the comment quickly and probably later thought "If only I'd said...."

It seemed to me as though she was thinking "What do I have to do to impress him?"

I'm sorry but if someone's opening remark to me was that they looked forward to seeing me perform with the same amount of pleasure as a visit to the dentist then I would be pretty annoyed and stop listening to anything else they had to say to me, especially if I had been working hard all week and tried my best.

To me that implies that he prejudges her, which tends to negate the validity of anything he has to say.

I have no problem with Roxanne making a flippant quip to Jason.

However, if she's going to do that, it should be funny.
