If its in media studies then believe me she could be as thick as mince.

Pointless degree and a waste of time.

To me that implies that he prejudges her, which tends to negate the validity of anything he has to say.”

Great point.

Actually Tabithakitten I did find it quite amusing and very appropriate under the circumstances. At least without any teeth Jason's 'bite' would be less cutting

she seems as bad a loser as jeremy edwards. and i really hated him

Thats not her fault though. She didn't train herself to do it that way or choreograph it that way. If she couldn't do it as well as Clare or Suzanne or Bonnie it shouldn't have been in the routine until she could or they decided it was too difficult. The other girls have set the standard people expect so half performing it was always going to look weaker. It should have been possible to do something else if they wanted wow factor - she is short enough and doesn't look that heavy so perhaps it was time for her to go higher rather than try something she couldn't do on her skating or dancing ability .

Jeremy Edwards was a bad loser?

All that was needed was something like the lift was disappointing or obviously the lift went wrong. He gives Roxanne the worst insults yet there's people like Todd, Colleen, Ellery, Donal and Melinda that are all, IMO, roughly on the same level or lower than Roxanne, yet he manages to say tell them what they did wrong in a nice enough way.

I think they should stop going to Jason for Roxanne's performance as hes just plain nasty to the girl, its just a entertainment show (yes a effectively a competition but hardly anything major serious) and shes trying her best.”

To be perfectly honest Roxy reminded me of a spoilt teenager who didn't get their own way. Turning her head to the side and shaking it while pouting away at the cameras. I can see why she thought it might come across well. Greg was hounded by Jason last year and he on occasion made flippant comments back to him but they were always in jest and very amusing. I can't stand her attitude, as though she deserves to be up there with Ray, Jess and Zoe without actually having to do any work for it.

And I actually think that after Ray, Donel is the strongest male skater. Once he works on his performance skills I think he could become really good at it. Melinda was unlucky with her trip because her routine was far more complex then Roxy's was but her scores were justified because of the slip up.

I find her a bit tedious....and she comes over as a spoilt child.

I don't think what she said was that bad, just not very witty and not very well delivered. A 5 year old could have come up with a better response and said it with more conviction.

Why at the end did she pretend she hadn't heard what Jason had said though? That really confused me.

Did she? The crowd was extremely loud though.

I think the dentist comment from Jason came right at the start of his comments when the booing hadn't started...

Would have been amused if Roxy had replied something like "next time you go to the dentist perhaps they'll sew your lips together" rather than take all his teeth out.

I say good on Roxy for saying something back, Jason doesn't like her & never has, he's never given her constructive critcism, he's just had a go, so why should she listen?

She's a far better performer & skater than they're giving her credit for I think.

To be fair though last night she was the only female skater that did any solo skating. She might not have been perfect but she's trying hard.

I can't stand Jason for being so blatently rude to her.

He doesn't like her and its obvious.

I thought his comments last week and this week were uncalled for/unconstructive and plain nasty.

Holly please give her break next week and ask for someone else's opinion.

I don't think she did hear him....the audience were very loud and no one seemed to be hearing at that point what he was saying.

She heard the word dentist and came up with her, not very funny line, but I don't think that's a bad thing.

We can all think of hilarious put downs after the event.

but on the same note that everyone saying jason doesnt like her i dont think ruthie does either-she always praises zoe says shes wonderful never gives roxanne a high score

although i thought the routine was awful and fell apart

i wish the audience would shut up though we're not at a panto

She's not that good. Shame Dan got partnered with her as I'm a big fan of his.”

I completely agree with this!

She's not as good as she thinks she is and needs to wind her neck in and work harder.

That comeback was lame. If she spent the time listening to Jason instead of thinking up that poor excuse for a putdown she might improve.

She comes over as very arrogant and spoilt. IMO.

I don't get people saying she seemed a sore loser.

She's put up with some rubbish from Jason for the past five weeks, so obviously she is gonna be pissed off.

That's all shes done, for the past five weeks yet Jason doesn't seem to notice that she HAS infact improved.

If it was me, and the first thing he said was "Your performance is like going to the dentist, I never look forward to it and it leaves me numb" then I would tune out too.

It goes beyond constructive criticism, if that's what he was dishing out then she'd take it on board.

She takes advice from all other judges, because they at least show her a bit of respect, something which Jason seems incapable of.

Actually I don't think she is.

I wanted her to be but she has been a huge disappointment.

I dont why people are saying Jason didnt give her constructive advice because actually he did, if people bothered to listen instead of booing or shouting at their tv's.

Yes he is mean, but thats why he gets the most air time out of all the judges which is actually a bit of vicious cycle because all the ridiculous booing is ruining the show.

Her headbanger was awful and I dont know why it was in the routine, she certainly isn't ready and it should have been left for later routine.

I dotn know why people are slating Zoe, from what I remember, she did her change of edge unassisted? Anyway, she certainly has more grace then Roxanne who plods along the ice, even my boyfriend noticed this!

Remember her week 1 routine - the 'dancing' at the
beginning was awful!

I agree with alot of people - the problem is she thinks she is alot better than she is, and it shows. I haven't warmed to her and her comments before the show started about wanting the 'skimpiest outfits' to get the male vote didnt really impress me. Hmph.

Compare that to her Sweet About Me routine, it shows how much she has improved, something which Jason wont pick up on, for reasons unknown.

Zoe done her change of edge unassisted woopy doop, that's the only time she's left go of her partner since she started.
