Hi Everyone, I'm in need of some decent advice!

I've just bought a Panasonic TH42PZ81B and I'm looking for a home cinema kit.

The only problem is that I have to get it either from Curry's or PC world (I've got £350 in vouchers!) I've looked at the Panasonic SCPT460EB (£199) but could only listen to an audio cd due to no set up... and the sub sounded rubbish compared to the Sony DAVDZ260 thats only £129. These are the only 2 I've tried to listen too, any other suggestions from these retailers?

Thanks for your knowledge

PC World/Curry's limits your choices to what they have in stock, so why not go along and listen to some?

If you can trade your vouchers for cash, then the choice opens up for the premier alll-in-one speaker system in this price range, which is the Onkyo HTX-22HD. It is scaleable from 2.1 to 7.1, and includes HD audio processing.

Just a thought...Dixons is part of the same group as Currys & PC World. Wouldn't the vouchers be acceptable there too? If so then there's a slightly larger choice and some better pricing on certain models.

Cheers for the reply's Chris and Robant

No luck with trying to trade the vouchers or going to Dixons. I managed to listen to the Panasonic SCPT460EB and Sony on full 5.1 and had a mess about with the settings on both.

It made a hell of a difference. Listening to both units, I found the panasonic much clearer and fuller. Sony was really basey, even on low setting.

Thanks again for you help
