Okay so the headbanger wasn't perfect, but it was still okay and more to the point I thought the rest of her routine was absolutely by FAR her best of the series so far, as was last week's until tonight, and yet her scores keep going down.

Tonight she did some decent solo skating I think, not much, but I don't recall seeing any from Zoe to be honest. Her routine flowed really smoothly and was quite lovely to watch overall, the lifts were impressive, constant and consistent, she looks the part and not clunky unlike Melinda did tonight.

To suggest she should have the same score as Melinda seems like an utter joke, Melinda did far less tonight AND stumbled, and as much as I love Donal, I don't think he deserved higher.

Normally it's easy enough to predict overall marks, but I was shocked by hers tonight. I hope to god she doesn't end up in the skate off because of it.

Then again maybe I'm alone

I was very disappointed with her marks. She deserved more.

I don't think she was undermarked but Jason's comments were inappropriate IMO.

To be honest I thought both Roxanne and Melinda were well undermarked.

When you look at the marks of Donal and Ellery and then compare the performances there should have been so much of a difference with the marks.

You can only think certain judges have pre-decided what sort of level of score they want to give certain skaters no matter what they produce on the night.

Without comparing Roxy to anyone else, I thought she skated particularly well tonight, very expressively; I thought the way she held herself and presented herself was beautiful and in keeping with the music, and I thought her marks were way too low. I thought Donal was undermarked again too.

Perhaps if she's in the skate-off she'll do the headbanger immaculately and be saved since that's the only reason I can see her marks being based on tonight

And also normally I'm really quick to judge females being pulled around the ice by their partners, but Roxanne doesn't rely on it.

I am with you and every week Jaon is allowed to comment on her as well as giving her low marks which is wrong.

I was very disappointed with her performance. She showed real improvement last week, but doesnt seem to have worked on that further. Maybe she was relying on one "risky headbanger" to get her marks rather than improved skill?

The marks were way too low. She deserved more this week as well as last week and Jason's comments are rude as far as i'm concerned.

18 or 19 I would have thought and if everything had come off she had more difficult content than Jessica and Jessica's skating advantage can't count for much when she was choreographed to stay in hold all performance. Much better than Colleen and more ambitious than Melinda or Donal . Zoe had a stronger performance, flowed better and had more difficulty allowing for height but I would have thought Roxy moved into the competitive zone.

Roxanne is always undermarked.
The judges seem to have something against her. Like, when Ruthie says to Zoe, and I think she said it to Melinda, something along the lines of "I really like you, and I'll ignore your little wobble, etc" (She said this to Zoe last week I think, and something similar to Melinda), she may as well say to Roxy "I don't like you, thus giving you a low score!"
It's really annoying.
They say her routine doesn't have passion and grace and all that, but imo hers is one of the best performances!!!
Plus, Dan is always criticised for holding on to his partners too much (Linda, Emily), yet with Roxy, she does quite a bit of skating on her own

Phew, rant over! lol

DONT get me started on Jason! Were they watching the same routine? Roxy was well undermarked IMO her routine flowed nicely and the routine was in keeping with the music. SHE did not mess up the headbanger Dan did (cant believe I am even saying that) So why should Roxy be marked down for something that wasnt her fault she was in position Dan wasnt it was HIS fault he didnt get hold of her correctly.

And as for Robin...................... its one thing to adjust marks directly after the marks BUT to wait for two others to skate THEN decide he wanted to take .5 away from them... that is bang out of order from the head judge.

Roxanne's scores were spot on.

Someone should explain to her that a headbanger requires guts but no skating ability whatsoever - so why she claimed it would get her higher marks in her VT is beyond me.

Her performances are never engaging. She just goes through the motions.

I completely agree with you. Jason really seems to have it in for Roxy and Ruthie seems to be favouring Zoe.

She isn't the best skater, but she certainly is not the worst. Plus I think Jason has a real thing against her, in fact against anyone who isn't a 'Ray' or a 'Zoe'.

I was of the opinion that Ruthie was biased in favour of Zoe, but this week I saw what she sees - a natural performer.

Roxanne doesn't have the same maturity on the ice. She had a beautiful song to dance to tonight but she could have been dancing to anything.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she should be matching Ray or anything, but I honestly thought that performance was pushing a 20 easily. Coleen got 17 the other week, how can that be BETTER than what Roxy did tonight? It's laughable. If Coleen had done that tonight I bet she would have got 4s all round.

Jessica was the strongest girl for me, but I thought Roxy easily matched Zoe and they should've been really close together. Overall Roxy's was my favourite performance of the night, though I'm aware it wasn't the "best", but I don't believe I'm being biased because I'm not saying she should top the leaderboard either...

I do sometimes wonder if the judges are like the viewers and sometimes mark on celebrities they like over what's actually being presented to them.

She has improved a lot since the start and I don't think she's far off Zoe in skating and dancing ability.

She's been undermarked since week one.

I just can't take to Roxanne for some reason. Last week, when she answered back, I thought she came across as a little petulant, and this week did even less to redeem herself...although I thought Jason's comments were uneccesarily harsh, she had the perfect oppurtunity to make him look like an even bigger **** than he already is.....by being incredibly gracious, but no.

I think she skates better than Colleen and Melinda who really aren't that great...but that's about it...she's nothing to write home about. I'd like to see her and Ellery in the skate off this week!

^^^ We dont know about Zoe. Maybe one day she'd let go of her partner and we may find out.
