Is it just me, or is the level of favouritism or anti-favouritism shown by the Judges this year just too obvious? Can they still be called unbiased Judges marking on what they see? We have...

Ruthie and Jason completely fawning over Zoe, going as far as to ignore one hell of a stumble and mark her in the same league as Jessica and Ray.

Melissa being looked forward to by Ruthie who brazenly marks a cheesy smile above others who put more into their performance such as 'Donald'.

Roxanne and Donald being singled out by the Judges, particularly Jason admitting brazenly that he wasn't looking forward to her performance.

So perhaps not all the Judges...just Jason and Ruthie.

Thoughts?

I do think it's worse than ever this series.

Another point is Karen's ridiculous sympathy and comments about bravery towards Coleen, who is one of the worst performers of the series and has been overmarked throughout!

Karen creeps up to Coleen at every opportunity she must fancy a spot on Loose Women.

Ruthie is the problem. Why can't she bugger off and leave the show?

every judge has there favourites look how they all fawned over bonnie langford in the first series and suzanne shaws last year if a contestant makes a mistakes they should talk about it and mark them down accordingly not gloss over the mistake and mark them up last year they pointed out all of chris fountains mistakes and glossed over suzannes and this year ruthie and jason have decided to glos over zoe salmons mistakes the other week when she neerly fell 3 times and ruthie said i dont care you neerly fell 3 times i just think your great and they seam to be marking roxanne down this year

I think it is human to have favorites but they need to be honest with themselves with the scoring

Much more obvious, mind you the adulation over Bonnie Langford was equally as sickening wasn't it? Consistently high marks for someone who was carried across the ice!

why smug and cocky - I still don't get this mentality. I don't think he comes across as smug or cocky.

Anyway, we all have our favourites don't we.

I do get sick and tired of the overmarking of some contestants by some judges though *coughs* Zoe and Ruthie.

It is obvious as well that both Donal and Roxanne are both overlooked by the judges.

TBH though I found that if you are in the middle of the class then you often are overlooked.

I was having group skating lessons last year and the coach who IMO was crap and who apparently coached on the first series of DOI concentrated on those who were really good and those who needed more help, therefore myself and another girl often were left alone. I left and have had private lessons with someone else since.

I don't understand why people think he's cocky or smug..

Perhaps it's to do with the smiley face and garbled chat. I am fine until he opens his mouth, then I want to throw something at the telly.

Ruthie favours Zoe and dislikes Roxanne and Jessica, definitely. Those are the most obvious. There are others I've noticed but can't remember at the moment.

Karen tends to say very positive comments to Colleen and to any other person "struggling". This may be favouritism as she bigs up Colleen more than her performance deserves, but I can forgive her this as she puts in time and effort coaching the celebs and probably sees this as encouragement (yes I know this doesn't mean it is fair "judging")

Ruthie and Jason act as though they are there to put some celebs on pedestals and knock down others. This is also not fair judging, and as they seem to be there for their own soundbites I cannot agree with them having blatant favourites. Unfortunately, logically or not, their fawning over Melinda and particularly Zoe has a negative effect on my view of these celebs.

I can sympathise a bit there. Ray evokes completely contradictory emotions in me. When I see him out on the practice rink bouncing around like the Duracell bunny I decide decide whether I want to smile and laugh with him or slap him. Likewise when he natters on at the speed of light about how brilliant this whole experience is and bring it on and let me get out there - I find myself shouting,
"Shut Up!... Bless him!"

Have to say it really doesn't matter though. He's so good he could be a complete tw*t (which he isn't) and I'd still look forward to watching him more than anyone else.

The most improved one is Donal- and the tewo skinflint performance judges in the middle of the panel seem loathe to give him the credit he deserves- Jason was very grudging last nigt towards him

And lets not forget- Donal has it harder than the girls

I don't understand what exactly Jessica has done to upset Ruthie so much? I can understand that Roxanne might be a bit grating, but Jessica?

From my experiences of him, Ray 'Don't you know who I am' Quinn was a complete arrogant swine even before X-Factor + DOI ... and he's not improved any since. (So I'm told anyway by friends in Liverpool)

Thankfully, I've not had the misfortune of bumping into him myself recently

I personally think Zoe is quite plain looking she's all teeth and Alice in Wonderland hair. Take that away and she's not all that. She's also very false.

Roxanne is one of these annoying, jammy women who mananges to look pretty even without her make up.

Well, I bow to your more personal experience. He makes me want to smile, pat him on the head and punch him all at the same time but like I said - he's so good it doesn't matter to me.
