He could be the next Robin Cousins for all I care, I still wouldn't waste my money voting for him

Say what you like about shows like this - they are a personality contest at the end of the day (to a very large extent anyway) which is why neither Rachel nor Lisa ever stood a chance of winning SCD

And that's your prerogative.

Of course these shows are a personality contest to a large extent. That's why I have to admire Mr Quinn. He's the first celeb (for me anyway) who has made me overlook any negative aspects of his personality. He could be Hannibal Lecter or a Sun Journalist (both of which would be more acceptable to you I'm guessing ) and I'd still want him to win. At this stage anyway. Not that I've voted for anyone yet.

Totally agree

I think Ruthie stands out as the judge showing favouritism towards Zoe and given few times she is actually asked her opinion it stands out a mile.

I don't think Jason does favour Ray tbh. I just think Ray does everything right that Jason looks for because Jason is looking at the performance and Ray does perform very well.

For someone who is not confident on the ice, getting the steps right takes up so much of their time that performance takes a back seat and this opens them to criticism big time from Jason. To make matters worse, unlike all the other judges Jason seems to comment on almost every couple. He is OTT (to the point of being nasty) when it comes to Ihe makes a criticism, but most of the time the point he is making is fair.

Karen should not be allowed to judge if she is also coaching - full stop.

I don't think Nicky or Robin show favouritism, but Nicky is inconsistent with his marking and that can make it look like he favours some more than others.

Just my opinion of course.

Anyway, we all have our favourites don't we.

I do get sick and tired of the overmarking of some contestants by some judges though *coughs* Zoe and Ruthie.

It is obvious as well that both Donal and Roxanne are both overlooked by the judges.

TBH though I found that if you are in the middle of the class then you often are overlooked.

I was having group skating lessons last year and the coach who IMO was crap and who apparently coached on the first series of DOI concentrated on those who were really good and those who needed more help, therefore myself and another girl often were left alone. I left and have had private lessons with someone else since.”

It may just be me but I find someone as overly confident as Ray bordering on cocky. I find the way he winks into the camera at every opportunity very off putting and his desperation to get into every camera shot equally off putting.
Last week someone was being interviewed for the results show and there he was waving in the background.
I found him a bit too much when he was on The X Factor but now he just irritates me full stop.

I noticed that too. Bonnie used to do the whole winking thing as well.

Agreed, Robin seems to be the only judge who is both consistent and honest with his marks and comments. It was funny when he was lost for words when Todd when flying in the tunnel.

Roxanne without make-up on, you are kidding right? It's impossible to miss all the eye make-up and blusher caked on her face during practice.

It's often seen that one good-looking woman is used as a weapon against another.
