Do you think Todd was as bad as they made him out to be?

Was he acting up to it? Do you think he was a better skater then they made it seem?

Looking at Chris's reaction when asked what more Todd could do to survive the skate off I'd say yes, he really was that bad.

in rehearsal footage he was skting on his own a fair bit,i think they played on the acting too much last night quite frankly and thats why he was voted out.

i felt soor for him elery shouldof gone hes shoowm no improvement at all Todd has .

I thought he looked a lot better in training than he did in the show, he didn't seem half as wobbly, perhaps his nerves got the better of him on the night!

I am more surprised that he managed to get through the selection process and onto the show, the others must have been really bad!

I just wonder if he was as bad as he seemed to be... I wonder was he acting some of it..

A lot of skaters look better in training as there isn't the same pressure on the performance. Get judges and an audience and the legs can indeed turn to jelly. I'm impressed it hasnt' affected more of them really badly, although it is easier to go out with a partner than to skate out on your own.

Pretty sure Todd really is that bad as you just can't skate that badly on purpose unless you are really a fantastic skater and not even Ray is good enough to do that.

He was bad in the first show when he would have had no reason to pretend and he just stayed bad. He tried hard but it just wasn't his thing.

Lovely guy, terrible skater.

Yes, bless his heart.

I'm gutted he was voted off though.

Yes he was. I did enjoy Todd's 'performances' on DOI but last night was embarrassing and it was his time to go.

He was terrible and I'm glad I can watch the show now without getting ittitated by him.

I agree that I think he acted worse than he already was!

He didn't have as much coaching as the others, who have had a good few weeks more than him, according to what I've read, so they were unfair.

He did say he had other commitments and couldn't put in the same hours some of the others were.

Sorry, no sympathy there. The celebs get a heck of a lot of money to do the show, and if he hadn't got the time he should have said so up front, and maybe asked to be considered for the next series - and kept sufficient time free to train.

To answer the initial question, yes he was every bit as bad as he appeared - if nothing else he wasn't clever enough to pretend.

I was surprised by how bad his peformances - as well as his actual skating - were. He may be an actor but I don't think he's capable of playing anything other than your luvverly chirrupy cockerney geeza

Yes Todd really was that bad. It's one thing practicing in an ice rink and another skating on live television being watched by millions. So even though he looked better on his VTs, I don't think he played up on the actual night - he was just nervous as hell.

I thought the difference between Todd's first and dance-off performances was amazing on Sunday. It seemed that he was so much more relaxed - he has to have known there was nothing he could do to stay - and therefore the skating was so much better. He was still nowhere near the level of the rest but it I was pleased to see him up his game before he went.

He did himself no favours with his acting skills neither. He appeared to be unable to act as well.
