Problem With Humax Hd Recording
HDMI
10-02-2009
Can anyone advise me why my humax hd box will only record for 2 hours when i try to record a 3 hour NON FREESAT channel? the box stays on until i manually put it in stand by but the hard drive stops at 2 hours. I thought it would record as long as i left it on in NON FREESAT mode any advise would be welcome.

Easy one this. When you press the record button the default record duration is 120min. If you press record a 2nd time you can set whatever duration you want

Yes it does, you have to start recording manually but you can set the duration by a second press of the record button. One press give you just 2hrs (the default)

You can't use the scheduling function of selecting on EPG events in non-Freesat mode but you can use the One Touch Record function to set the period that it should record from in an instant record.
