I think they only had five judges in the first place to try and make it look different from SCD. Personally I would prefer four judges and hear what they all have to say after each performance.
I think we could do without Ruthie. Perhaps she's there to judge performance, but surely we have Jason to do that? And let's face it, Karen, Nicky and Robin wouldn't have got where they did without knowing a thing or two about performance as well as technique. So for me, Ruthie to go.
Any thoughts?

I agree wholeheartedly. I think that a lot of her comments are just for effect, whereas at least Jason tries to be constructive most of the time.

I saw her in the West End several years ago, and she was good, not great, but good. However, we fairly recently saw her again and she just didn't have it for us, she doesn't seem to have aged as well as, for example, Elaine Page (sp?).

Perhaps that is the reason why she has remained as a judge. You can't blame anyone for taking the money when it's offered.

Ruthie! I didn't like her last series, but this series she has annoyed me even more. Especially with her favouritism and critising other judges for not agreeing with her.

Did you see her face when she was booed on Sunday? She didn't look to impressed.

Keep Robin for the gravitas and Nicky for the skating expertise, then bin the rest. My objections to Jason have been well documented, I don't think a lot of Ruthie's style and Karen, while clearly a good coach, has even less TV personality than T&D.

Really, how hard can it be to find a female skater with looks, personality and at least part of a brain? Couldn't we hire an American female? They're usually a bit more showy.

To be honest if i was being harsh i could do without Ruthie, Nicky and Karen.

I think Nicky may be a bit all over the place because he doesn't know what his role in the panel is.

Karen is there to be encouraging, Jason is there to be harsh but accurate and to judge performance, Ruthie is there to be nice, sweet, glamourous and to judge performance and Robin is there to be calm and collective and to judge skating with performance.

I don't think Nicky has a place since Ruthie joined really. I think bring back Krez.
