What kind of iPod is it? If it's a touch, he can just go to the game in iTunes and click buy on it again. It will come up with a dialog saying he's already purchased it, and will redownload for you.

Also, if it is a touch, the games may still be in the Applications folder - check My Music>iTunes>Mobile Applications. If they are, he can add the folder again.

If that doesn't work, email Apple support.

Apologies for butting in OP but can I please ask a similar question

Fromez, what you've posted above will it apply to any TV show downloads too? I ask because I started downloading a TV programme on my laptop but it was taking forever. I thereby stopped it and started it again on my pc at work and that worked perfectly.

I was then under the impression that I could retrieve this on my laptop, as I have with music I've purchased off iTunes on other computers, but I can't find it anywhere so to speak

I started the buying process again, but got as far as the confirmation box and quit as I didn't want to be charged for it again. Is there anyway of retrieving the download please?

Thanks, and apologies again (I hate starting threads )

I hope your son can retrieve his games OP, but failing that Apple support are very helpful

No, this doesn't work for videos or music.

What you can do is bring a flash disk to work, copy the programme to that and then copy to your laptop. You'll be able to open it in iTunes on there as it'll be an authorised computer.
