Hey, she doesn't do stuff like that.

This contender is a real airhead.

I'm beginning to think today's show is a wind-up, any second now Ant and Dec will turn up and bring on the real contestant

New format began today!

Will take some getting used to, but an extra numbers game pleases me.

Not sure I approve of this change. It'll probably push the scores up a bit and give too much weighting to people really good at the maths.

I was recording today's show, but switched the telly on after 10 minutes and couldn't understand why adverts were on. Now I know why! Not sure what commercial (i.e. advertising) advantage there is by having the first break so soon and it makes the show very lopsided with one short "half" (as Richard Whitely used to say) and two long ones. I also found it odd having the guest and Susie's spots in the middle of the "half" rather than towards the end.

The only reason I could see for the changes was to get a break in early so this must be what the advertisers want.

Not the only reason, they could have done that anyway. One more number round (and therefore one less letters round) is due to public demand according to Rachel, although why the demand has suddenly arisen after all these years, or alternatively why the producers have suddenly given in to a demand that has been there, is unknown.

The public have realised you get the best view of Rachel's bum in the numbers round.

Not only that, I and other members of my family have long said it is unfair for the person sat in the challenger's seat to get 2 numbers rounds. So that now takes away any advantage from someone who is good with numbers but crap with letters.

Yes they could have brought the break forward with the old format but there wouldn't have been a numbers game in the first part.

if they both get the number game right, then give it to the one who used the fewest numbers. if they both get the same, then 10 points each.

that would keep them thinking all through.

and bonus points for any words in Roger's Profanisaurus.

As a fan of the numbers round (it's the only round when I can usually beat/equal the contestants): I think the new format has too many numbers rounds! In the first two halves of the show, there seemed to be another numbers round every time you blinked.

And overall, the three halves just aren't as balanced as they always used to be. I don't like it.

I can see why they've done it (both players select 5 letters rounds and 2 numbers) but it needs tweaking.

I like the momentum of 3-4 letters rounds leading up to the numbers. Have back to back numbers before the conundrum if need be.

I think it is better to try and use all the numbers.

But the natural inclination of a mathematician is to use as few numbers as possible to get to the target - ie to get there in as efficient route as possible.

Rachel (and even the Vord used to) takes that approach.

Agree have to admit she is so fecking hot, she should wear more revealing clothes to show her figure to the max. The rest of the game is just a side show. Todays red dress is OK but doesnt show to much of her magnificant figure>

It gives the appearance of having been sprayed on and is nicely cut at the front - amazingly tight around the bottom. Incredibly f****ble
