Reports are suggesting the show is down to 500,000 viewers now, surely not long before the axe falls if true.

Rachel has the looks, and is OK at the numbers, but lacks personality. Any banter between her and Jeff seems forced. Jeff is too slick in his presentation, tries too hard to be funny, and brings sport into the proceedings too much. Some of the DC guests have been pretty poor choices too. I just feel that the show has lost it's charm, and it needs someone with a more natural personality in the chair.

Is there anybody out there who thinks as I do? The dictionary corner guests are boring. What has happened to the Pam Ayres, Rick Wakeman, Martin Lewis (actor not money man)and others equally brilliant ? I agree that Lesley Garrett was the last straw. I do not want to have to listen to that noise when I am watching a serious programme. Also, the contestants seem to be very uninteresting. Is it me, or as the viewing figures show, a lot of people feel the same? I love Susie and Rachel, and Jeff is increasingly more at home with the show. It would be a shame if Channel 4 had to abandon the programme because the listeners are bored with the guests and contestants.

Tim is in Dictionary Corner for five shows starting on Monday 9 November.
Yay! If Rachel can wear that pink dress again, it'll be perfect. |

![]() With the exception of Richard Digance, Andrew Sachs, Penny Smith, Tim Vine and Matt LeTissier, the dictionary corner guests haven't been that good this year, as said Jeff, Rachel and Susie make it a very watchable show, certainately better than Des O and Carol. |

There is a rumour that voiceover man Peter Dickson (X Factor, Paul O'Grady, etc) may be joining the show to spice up the show. Imagine him with his OTT voiceovers?

Odd choice for the very first week with the new presenters. I'd quite like to see Carol Vorderman as the guest one week, that would generate some interest. |

Sadly I don't think voderman will ever be asked back on the show after the slagging off she's given everyone involved because they failed to continue paying her millions of pounds for doing a job that Rachel does so much better.

I haven't watched for ages. But Rachel, what a stunner, that tight short dress stretched across her bottom, Oh I'm going crazy.
Smug face Hilary from GMTV is the guest and told a very amusing tale about his father , who was also a GP |

David "Bumble" Lloyd is filming today in dictionary corner according to his twitter. He seems more impressed with being next to Susie Dent in both the corner and for lunch than being within 10 feet of Rachel
As much as I like Susie, all my attention would be on Rachel if I were in his shoes |

Isn't David in his early 60s? Don't you think it would look a little seedy if he started drooling over a girl forty years his junior?

I still enjoy the game itself, which is the reason I watch. Rachel is pretty good having finally settled in. Jeff Stelling still seems very clumsy as a presenter IMHO and he does have a tendency to make silly "sport jokes" occasionally.
The guests are not always quite as good as in the past. Martin Jarvis hasn't been on for quite a while. Jo Brand should be banned from the building IMHO and the person who dreams up the silly words for the Teatime Teasers should be sacked. I feel really annoyed if I have spent the ad break trying to solve an anagram when the word is some silly Americanised slang word as seems to happen a lot these days. |

What are the odds for Jeff to leave sooner as the host's chair seems to be a curse
