I think I heard somewhere that Jeff will be getting in on the act soon. Next week, expect to see him him in Speedos.

The word 'orgasm' was suggested during the game the other day, but she didn't put it up on the board

Don't know, but I thought she had got them hitched up too tight and looked most ungainly.

After Tory gargoyle Vorderman's hideous performance on Question Time last night, I am enjoying the gorgeous Rachel all the more...

She just gets better and better (talking about her maths of course, rather than today's top, I mean dress )

Agreed, she's looking fine today

Oddly three very very very easy numbers rounds too, that doesn't happen often.

You mean there's someone other than Rachel on Countdown?
Can't say I'd noticed.

The title of this thread is so funny. I am tempted to believe that it is intended as a wind up.
The programme has gone down market BIG TIME !
A football head for chairman whose humour ends at football jokes. "I missed the moon landing on TV, Sunderland were playing at home that day" Ho Ho Ho
Sportsmen and reality TV type persons as guest talking about themselves and their careers where there used to be actors with humorous contributions to make.
A letters lady who looks pretty tasty but seems not to have heard of anything or anybody in the field of music or literature.
Even the contestants don't seem to do as well, perhaps they are scraping the barrel because people have lost interest.
I still like the game and will continue to watch, shouting "bu**** off" at the telly at regular intervals

I'm surprised that no one has posted anything about todays Champion of Champions show. Mr Morris v Mr Bevins!

I've just turned on and seen the number 37 as one of the tiles in the Numbers game and thought this was a bit strange.

Chris Davies, it was, not Morris, it was a great contest. Having said that, neither got the conundrum, CYBERNAUT, which a member of the audience solved.

Rachel was rather viewable. But then . . . . . .

They changed the 'easy' big numbers (25, 50, 75 and 100) to 12, 37 (and two others we never found out as they did not come up but I would guess 62 and 87 are good bets).

The point was a one off experiment to make it harder for proven champions.

I'm afraid your post backfired as I laughed out loud at jeff's joke when I read it! Perhaps you should stop watching and leave countdown to those of us who appreciate it.

I agree with Jellieso. I thought the thread title was a wind up and judging by most of the comments on here it seems to be true as all they seem to be interested in is the numbers girls outfits or lack of them.

A nice change to the numbers game. 37 kept popping up though. How they didn't get 37x8=296 is beyond me.
That was the only one I got

I thought this was interesting how they did this. Did see the last part of todays episode, i watched Countdown on and off over the years.

Have skimmed through a lot of the posts in this thread i think its still as good.

I went to the recording where they filmed four of these special shows during the day, the rest to be shown later in the year (contestants and dates on www.c4countdown.com)

But you guessed right about 62 and 87 (unless you were there as well).
