Current champion continued her winning streak.
Very good challenger though. |

She got VAULTING for 8 with the S left over but nobody queried whether she could have had VAULTINGS (as in vaultings of ceilings) for 9. I checked, and it's an allowable Scrabble word so presumably should be okay for Countdown.

I considered vaultings as well. If I was playing on the actual show I probably wouldn't have risked it unless I was falling behind. What is allowed in scrabble is not necessarily allowed in Countdown.

No, as Susie said yesterday, Chambers dictionary is the official dictionary of Scrabble, whereas it's the O.E.D. for Countdown.

Better outfit today. The 100 year old guy in the front row will be keeling over.

I didn't realise that this was the Perv Over Rachel thread. Is this really why some people watch Countdown?

I agree with whoever said above that Ms. Riley has been wearing too many clothes of late. Missed today's episode, anyone got any screencaps of her?... |

Gingered was a good word, didn't get that one.
I do think it could be distracting as I thought what she was wearing was quite unsuitable for moving letters from one place to the other.

What would you suggest she wear then? A hermetically sealed canvas bag?
