I was a little bemused during the last numbers game (5, 6, 4, 3, 50, 100 Target-443) as the two contestants didn't get it and Rachel's solution was overly complicated. There is a much simpler solution and I'm amazed nobody else on the programme got it.

4x100=400
+50 = 450
5+(6/3) = 7
450-7 = 443

Even simpler:

5*100=500
50+4+3=57
500-57=443

I agree entirely. Too often these days, Suzie has to be consulted to explain the meaning. Now if I don't solve the teaser in a very short time I just give up and assume it's a weird word that I have never heard of.

I've never watched The Apprentice so haven't seen Nick, but from what I've read he seems more suited to the job than Jeff. It will be nice to have a break from all the sporting references.

It depends how you approach it. People who are not as good at the numbers game very often get the "easy" solution because they are looking for one. If you assume it is not going to be easy then you use approaches that will get you the correct result much more often but will maybe not be the easiest method.

People will always talk more about what they know. The worst host by far was Des O'Connor who kept making all the boring showbiz references - I don't find Jeff's sporting references at all boring.
