really flickery picture....
Hi
Im getting a really flickery picutre on my main TV from my FTA satellite box. I thought maybe the box was faulty - so I swapped it with the identical box upstairs. the problem stayed on the main tv - so its the tv and not the box. (freeview, dvd, vcr all look fine on it) Tried changing scart leads, connecting by RF and via red/yellow/white leads - problem still stays. It does in with the box set to PAL or Auto mode - (cbvs and rgb) BUT not with the box on NTSC. (although this cuts off half the picture - must be different aspect ratios) what's going on???! electrical interference? I tried removing the transformer from my wii but it still does it? |

Think I've worked it out. Theres a speaker underneath the satellite box. - So I'm going to try taking this out of the equation.
Duh - how could I not think of this?! (although to be fair - I thought the speaker was screened) Would a speaker cause this type of interference? If there is a falut with the screening, etc? |
