Jack Be Nimble and Jack Be Quick

Hi

I work in a supermarket and they play some random songs - honestly u wont hear them anywhere else than Dunnes Stores. Any way for a while now there has been this song playing and I assume it's called Jack Be Nimble because the chorus goes

"Jack be nimble and-a-Jack be quick
Because we're running outta time for you to make a mistake
You got me up and down
No need to make a mistake
Now Jack be nimble, and Jack be quick

Its quite a good song and Ive searched google and youtube for it and cant find it. One of my workmates suggested that because the song is rare and you dont hear it anywhere else it could suggest that the singer has no record label? I ahve no idea

anyone else heard this song or know it at all

any clue to the age of singer, black, white, type of music?

I've got a funny feeling this is an old song - I mean decades old.

LOL we sing this as a nursery rhyme in my works

'Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack jumped over the candle stick,
He jumped high and he jumped low, fell over and bumped his nose''

Hi, umm Ive no idea about the ladies colour but her voice sounds young so Im assuming she's a young singer.

Don't think its old - few years ago - its not a famous song, Im certain the songs they play in work are from singers who have no record deal - lol saving money indeed - just wondered if anyone had actually ever come across this song before and knew who sang it. It is the question on everyone's lips at work and no one can find the answer.
