This site may be of use to you, if only for the information on it. It has a free download option but I believe you have to pay for the full version. Take a look so you understand what you need to do, then use google to find the program you want to use to do it.
http://www.dvdtoiphone.net dont worry it says iPhone, its the same format. |

To add videos, they need to be in the mpeg4 format. If you have mpeg4 videos on your laptop, then just open iTunes, click file and then add file to library.
When you have done that, go to your iPod touch where it shows up in iTunes, and go to the videos tab and choose which ones you want to synch. To convert existing videos, and rip dvds into file format, I'd use Handbrake (free) http://handbrake.fr/ This can convert files for you, and has a Touch preset. To rip dvds, you need an extra program http://www.dvd43.com/ If you install this and run it just before you open Handbrake, you'll be able to rip any dvd you want. |
