42LG7000 LCD problems thread
Hi there peeps...
Can people who have this model of tele please post here probs with their set... everything from optical dolby digital output not working.. to juddering picture faults.. Then with any luck LG's 'real' tech support team will be reading and get an updated firmware out to fix it all! To start it off here's my gripes: 1) no dolby digital output on optical port - just plain 2 channel stereo signal,,, when viewing a dolby digital source like blueray through HDMI. (despite dolby digital turned to "On" in TV's menu.) 2) noticeable lag on bluetooth A2DP devices paired to the tv. 3) occassional judder when viewing 1080p/1080i sources. (more noticeable with 1080p24) 4) long boot time from standby (15 secs minimum to HDMI input1) many thanks |

Your first problem isn't a problem at all. Its not designed to switch Dolby Digital thru it from externally connected devices. its for outputting a dolby digital signal if it receives it via its internal tuner. Which as freeview doesn't currently broadcast dolby digital, means it only outputs stereo.
