I could just about see myself. I appear a couple of times since I was sitting in the part of the audience which was filmed, probably almost directly opposite you.

I looked earlier on iplayer earlier and it wasn't on ,I too missed it due to being at work :-[

They didnt even show it on the highlights show today........I thought in comparison to previous years it was a bit lack lustre........Watching it I couldnt help but watch Tess closely knowing that she made a mess up of it and they had to keep recording bits and then finding out it was a few days before Vernons stupitiy was printed........also the bit about Alesha not being there 'because she was in the recording studio' well she may have been but the truth was she was never on the tour and they had to film it on a Saturday so that Arlene wasnt there......knowing this left a bitter taste in my mouth that they were playing the audience for fools.......Didnt think it was Strictly's finest moment in many ways.

That didn't sit well with me, either Jan. Better not to have mentioned Alesha at all, I think.

I didn't actually think Tess did a bad job. They recorded one bit three times because she got it wrong, but apart from that it went ok. And believe me I'm not her biggest fan!

I don't think they showed Len's joke (can't be bothered to watch back and see ). he said something along the lines of 'We've finally got rid of Arlene, and now we've got another dragon on the show'!

Other thing I thought was weird was Natalie doing the splits in the Tango. I seem to remember she also did them in a Waltz or similar during the main series?

Yes she did on semi final night both in her waltz with Ricky and that fabulous foxtrot with Ian (can you tell I loved it regardless )
I remember thinking that there was an almost identical sequence in both those dances involving the splits which didn't sit well with me - I don't mind the splits in a fast Latin number but it doesn't seem right in a Ballroom one.

Having said that, I didn't like Kristina doing them in one of her dances with JS either in series 6 but I suppose they had to have some content
