I would love Alesha and Mark to take part next year but the likelihood of that happening is immensely slim.
In fact this year had an almost perfect line-up (Tom, Rachel, Cherie, Gethin, Kenny, Jill) so next year is going to have to work hard to beat it for me.

Though I still have no idea where I'm going to be living so I don't know whether to buy tickets for Manchester or Newcastle. Gr at stupid universities taking too long to respond.

When I met Austin yesterday (Sat) and had a pic with him I asked if we were going to get the chance to see him on the Tour next year and he did say "he was thinking about it"...

so there is hope ladies.....

I don't think I'll bother next year. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience on Friday (with the bonus of a win for Gethin and Flavia) but it is such a hassle getting there from the Island and having to placate him indoors that I will wait for the DVD.

Shall we start the countdown for next year?

I'm trying to think who is left to ask, unless they have people back from the first two tours. Even assuming there are three from SCD7, that still leaves four or five spots.

Birmingham tickets are now on sale... I'm gutted the front row ones were already gone by the time I realised (literally about five minutes after they went on sale I think ). But I got dancefloor B for Sun afternoon. I'd rather have them even though they can be a disadvantage if someone tall sits in front of you, they're easier to sell if you decide against them!

Kind of disappointed with row B... I'm really short and I had a GIANT of a guy in front of me in London I also wish we could tell where on the dance floor we are?

That happened to me, the guy who sat in front of me actually apologised when he saw me, he was so tall! I don't get why he needed to sit in the front row, he would have been able to see wherever he sat!

I still prefer the dancefloor seats over the others even though the view might be better elsewhere. I sat six rows back on Sat and wished I was closer, even though the view was great.

Do they do booster seats? If I get a giant again I think I'm going to ask for one, lmfao. I thought the same about the giant, I don't know WHY he needed to sit there. If he was behind me he would've had a perfect view.

Are the dancefloor seats not tiered? In Wembley, the blocks A and B are.

Some advice on Dance Floor seats in Bham..

This year.... (of course supposing they have the same numbering set up).

Pretend you are the judges and sitting at their table looking out at the arena...

Numbers 1-approx 70/75 - are the seats to the left (ie on the side that Tom, Kenny, Rachel and Julian came out at the start for the line up)

and numbers 151 to about 195 are the seats on the right hand side as you look at it.
I got row B 192-195 for Friday evening and I remember having a seat about 190 last year that was fantastic for couple interaction (but it was in the front row).

According to the LG arena (Ticketfactory) website the seating plan for next year is different (ie after the refurb) no blocks A, B and C... just the dance floor and then numbered blocks... (So no blocks D, E and F) Although there now appears to be dance floor seats on the short end (opposite the judges) which of course there were not this year... (just random chairs put out as and when)...

I think at Wembley the "dance floor seats" are just 4 rows in several mini stands...

At O2 and Birmingham the dance floor seats are just 2 rows and not tiered. (so of course you suffer if you have a tall bloke in front....)

actually Id like to start a petition you know when the warm up guy says "and which guys have been dragged here against their will"....?? Well Id like him to say, "and for those of you dragged here against your will, why dont you ask the people behind you (if they are the front few rows) if they want to change places... Its particularly bad if there has been any dragging involved because usually men talk through the dances...

Last year I was at O2 in row B dance floor for one night and 3 giants in front of me, (their spouses/other halves were sitting together further down the row)... and these blokes decided to start talking through the ballroom round. I told them to shut up on more than one occasion... (thankfully they stayed ensconced in the bar for most of the second half) just came back in time to block my view to Dirty Dancing
