This won't be a popular choice but the worst gig I ever saw was Destiny's Child in London on their last tour.

The sound was truly appalling. .... not that anyone was actually listening to anything other than themselves singing

I once watched a Cradle of Filth song on Youtube where they were performing it live.

The crowd was like a wake. Apart from the odd kid who was headbanging or the mosh pit-ette up front, they all looked slightly bored and puzzled, as though they were all standing thinking "This isn't the match... I knew we should have turned left at that junction!".
Even the crowd warm up didn't work- and crowd warm up from the band ALWAYS works, even if it's terrible.
I have no idea why it was. There was nothing wrong with the band's performance as far as I could gather (I know that sometimes one of the guitarists goes out of sync or the vocalist has a cough or the speakers break etc) and these people must have all chosen to go to that gig, so it was just sooo weird.

The last gig I went to, I had a balcony ticket. Balconies are horrible (well this one was)- you can't even cheer on the bands without sounding like a moron. After all of 15 minutes I got bored with it and decided to sneak down onto the ground, where I might actually have some fun.
