Phillips DVD whistles when there is no media inserted
yes that's right Bought a Phillips DVD player in Gum tree tonight a Phillips seemed ok when the guy showed me But what i did not see at his house Was that this Phillips DVD player
whistles like crazy when there is no media inserted anyone else had this.. Cost me £20 so be warned I know now why he was so keen to sell it..

Must be the cooling fan inside the dvd player that is making the noise,personally i'd unscrew the casing and check for dust on the fan.
