It was a little plug for their documentary tomorrow night...showed a clip where they went to see their Bolero costumes in the Castle museum in Nottingham. They also did a short interview and said that there are still people around who think they got married after that mega-successful 1984 season!

They also said that the first few seconds of Bolero were choreographed so that they did not start skating right away so as not to go over the time limit for skating in the programme..hence them starting on their knees.

Thank you - it was a great interview!

T&D were also interviewed on Radio 5 this morning too by Victoria Derbyshire who clearly knew nothing about the Bolero (mind you I'm not sure she knows much about anything ).

It is ironic that ITV are showing the documentary when it was the BBC that showed the original routine as part of the British Championships, the European Championships and Olympics. T&D are probably contracted in some way to ITV, but I suspect the BBC have been caught napping and missed out on the 25th Anniversary.

The Interviewer mentioned that in the 25 years since T&D won the Olympic gold, no one else had even come close to achieving their success, I was disapointed that neither Chris or Jane mentioned that John and Sinead had won bronze at the Europeans this year!

To be fair he did say seeds had been sown and I thought he (and Jayne) seemed optimistic about future for British skating.
