Virgin to BT
I have currently got Virgin Phone but want to move to BT.
Will a BT engineer have to come to my house to wire a BT line or can it use the Virgin Cable connection? By the looks of it i can, http://www.productsandservices.bt.co..._calls_newline |

Only Virgin Media can use the cable connection as they dont have to allow access to their network in the same way BT does...if your property has never had a BT line or the last time BT had a working service in the property was a while ago you would normally be charged the full install price, (£120 ish) but if you sign upto a call plan (12 or 18 month) then they were doing connection for £30, (win back from cable )
but this means you wouldnt be able to move your calls or line rental for the period of the contract |
