I guess the title is self explanatory and I know there's been several similar threads on the past but none of them have been recent and there might have been more songs since then that you've discovered.
So yeah , which songs do you know of that always get you going a little bit or at least make you emotional whilst listening to them.
Even though I've never actually cried properly at any song, I'd say Lover, You Should've Come Over by Jeff Buckley gets me pretty close. I don't think anyone quite does broken hearted hurt like Buckley and you can really feel the pain in his voice as he sings.
Song to the Siren by Tim Buckely is another one but it's the Ivri Lader version that I prefer. I;d say this song is the one I probably consider the saddest to listen to and I always have to listen to something upbeat after this so make myself feel better and not completely depressed! I'd say some of the others are My Immortal by Evanescence , Hurt by Johnny Cash, Kissing You by Desree (which Beyonce completely murdered) , Crying by Roy Orbison and a Change is gonna come by Sam Cooke.
Anyone else got any songs?
