Dance With My Father - Luther Vandross

You'll Never Walk Alone - played it at my Dad's funeral, so it's a bittersweet song for me now

Jeff Buckley, Hallelujah. Especially when you watch the video on youtube where it's just him, his guitar and the microphone. It's just incredible.

Although if I'm in a weird/sad mood, most songs will make me cry!

I'm sorry to hear of your loss Scorpio. It puts me off hearing heartfelt songs such as those and having people on X Factor etc. who can't sing demeaning their sentiment.

Agreed, she surpassed herself exceedingly with that song. I've not heard that song from Boyz II Men though, only their 2 well known hits

I think it's about him taking his own life, but I admit I don't know much about the artist. Well worth a listen though.

For all the mothers, like me, out there.
JJ Barrie's song 'No Charge' is the most beautiful song for youse. I cannot listen to it without crying. It sums up everything about being a mother.
Please hear it.

I've never cried at a song unless it was being played at a funeral, but I did come close to crying when at Katy Perry- Thinking Of You

I'm blaming it on the hormones.

Tis a good songHappy.

Recently discovered another song that makes me cry:

Misguided Ghosts - Paramore
Can really relate to that at the moment. I cried on the first listen. Hopefully, I won't be able to in a few months time..though the music, and the way that it is sung/sang is beautiful.

The Seekers - Lemon Tree
Say Goodbye - S Club 7
Lonely - Akon
Slow Down - Bobby Valentino
Gonna Change The World - S Club 7 (was on their first album)
I Really Miss You - S Club 7 (was also on their first album)

I try not to listen to sad songs too much, I prefer stuff that gets me up off my chair or that I can sing badly to!

I'd obviously heard Whitney Houston sing "I Will Always Love You" hundreds of times and as a love song it left me dry eyed.

Then I heard that it had been played at the funeral of a young mum who had died of cancer leaving children and in that context it takes on a whole new meaning and I can't stop the tears flowing when I hear it now.
