Hate to be picky () but it's Friends. Not F-r-i-e-n-d-s.

Not according to my DVD boxsets... each letter has a different coloured dot in the middle!

Surely it's F.R.I.E.N.D.S, not F.r.i.e.n.d.s!

I think you maybe need to look at the writing on the box set again then, as it's actually F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Well I put the dashes to familiarise you all with Friends the TV show, and not to get you all confused. Isnt it whatever, I put?

So there no definite answer??

The definite answer is that the show is called F.R.I.E.N.D.S - and DOA stands for Dead on Arrival - it's a fairly well-known acronym, usually used in medical circles.

The show was called Friends not F·R·I·E·N·D·S. Just like Doctor Who isn't called DOCTOR · WHO, despite the logo.

Didn't the creators of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. () write this song as well?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I%27ll_...embrandts_song)

"I'll Be There for You", performed by The Rembrandts is the theme song to the hit American sitcom Friends, which premiered in 1994. Although The Rembrandts write most of their own songs, this one was written by Michael Skloff and Allee Willis and was initially offered to They Might Be Giants and R.E.M.[1]
