There's a song which I hear at work (homebase) every saturday which I can't find out the artist. It's sung by a guy and the first line sounds like 'I'm in a carrrrrr and...' and he lengthens out most of his last lines.

No one really knows it at work and I can't find it anywhere
Homebase FM repeats their songs all the time but they don't tell you the song artists which is really frustrating.

If anyone has any idea on what it might be please let me know

Thanks

Feeder - Buck Rodgers

That could be a possibility.

No, unfortunately but thanks for helping

It starts off quite calm but he lengthens his words e.g. I'm in a caaarrrr,........
It was really difficult trying to get the lyrics as the song wasn't on loud enough but the first sentence kinda sounded like my example. The middle of the song started picking the tempo up but at the end of every sentence the guy would make the last word longer if that makes sense.

Do you remember any lyrics from the chorus/bits that are repeated?

I think it was 'And I'm running away'

I'll probably have to wait until next week so that i can try and listen to it properly unless I hear it elsewhere but I've never heard it anywhere else.

The beginning sounded quite like the song I'm after, just not as heavy, the song didn't pick up till half way through, getting closer though

The first sentence of the song sounds very much like "I'm in a caaarrrr/I'm in a (something sounding like car)"

It's really difficult to find and I'm annoyed with myself because i can't put together the words properly lol, radio wasn't clear enough

Yeah, I've been trying to look for it on the internet but no luck so far
I might check it when I go back next week.

When/If I find it if I can't find it tonight, I'll let you know if you're interested. Thanks though everyone for helping, I'll continue to try and find it and if anyone hears a song which may sound like what I've described then please let me know. Thanks again
