Series recording of radio programmes
I assumed that I would be able to "Record Whole Series" of radio programmes, but it seems that it's only possible on certain channels (eg WRN). Why don't I get the option on BBC radio channels ?
iPlayer only holds radio programmes for 7 days so I was hoping that the HDR would record certain series for me during our 2-week holiday. Is it simply because the Beeb don't bother to transmit the series-link data for radio programmes ? |

Series link is dependent on broadcaster signalling, they must tell the device that a programme is part of a series. Presently I understand the BBC don't broadcast that signalling for radio, but I believe it should arrive eventually.

Thanks Bob, that will be useful if/when they do. Looks like some other broadcasters do already (eg WRN), and it works well.
Mrs Blueberryman wont miss any of the Archers now when we go on holiday ! |
