Laurence Jeffcoate leaving

Hi
I just thought that some people might like to know that Laurence Jeffcoate is leaving the role of Oliver after just four months on March 19th.
I am really gutted about this because Laurence came accross as such a lovely boy and worked so hard to win the role of Oliver. It seems too soon for him to go!
This news is being spread around other Internet forums so its not like I'm letting the cat out of the bag.
Harry Stott and Gwion Wyn Jones are staying until August.
I don't know about the other IDA boys in the ensemble.

I heard this too, it's because he's had a growth spurt and is now too tall I'll bet he's GUTTED. I'm sure he'll go on to do more theatre work, he's clearly a very talented boy!

I saw Laurence as Oliver and he was great, its a shame he has to go.

Aw, that's a shame. I loved the way Lawrence emerged towards the end of the selection process as a real front runner and ended up being chosen. Even though I barely noticed him at first, he was my favourite Oliver by the end. He had the best voice of the lot.

However, I'm sure this experience will have opened many doors for him and there'll be lots of opportunities for him in the future.

I'n gutted he's leaving. I always thought he had an amazing voice. Does anyone know who'll be replacing him?
