'Listen" by Beyonce is in the "best song ever" game?? No!

But good so far. I voted for Man In The Mirror, Don't Wanna Miss A Thing, With or Without You, Hey Jude, Chasing Cars and Imagine, I think.

All oldies? Apart from 'Listen' (random ), 'Chasing Cars' (:yawn. Radiohead have the only half decent one.

Also, I can't believe 'Don't wanna miss a thing' got through. *pukes*.

Agree with you there - I would have liked to have seen imo better modern ones through (and i also cant stand Dont want to miss a thing!), but the DS public spoke!

With or without you and Everybody Hurts are modernish though and i like them i have to say, and I guess it also shows the old great songs are still standing the test of time!

Get your vote in for Radiohead though if you want them to stay!

i think a fairly predictable result, really. Beyonce was out of her depth in this list....shame it wasn't one of her earlier hits, which might have gotten more consideration.

that is just how the average 17 year old tends to think unfortuently....with age comes wisdom though....

oh well, i thought Listen was at least enough to do better than the single most overrated and overplayed song in the history of mankind, i.e. Chasing Cars!

besides, a lot of music i listen to is 60's and 70's soul, so not really the style of music that your "average" 17 year old listens to, right?

well it depends really, i have a strong emotional connection to that song, hence why I rate it reasonabley highly in the context of this game (though I didn't vote for it in the nominations stage). I can think of a lot of other songs that are more over-rated than that one.....many of them, for example, written by Chris Martin and Noel Gallagher....
