I remember once in a Louis Theroux doc, they were the subjects and obviously Louis's line was to take the piss but Paul (who was moody and NOT personable) at the end said "You TV and media people always want a big story. You always want to over dramatisise things and make out that things are terrible, that things are grim and people are unhappy and miserable..... but I think most people are generally happy". And I respected him for saying that- they are odd but they are happy in their world! |
