Itunes Vouchers & iPhone

If someone buys me some iTunes vouchers, can these be used to buy apps form the app store or are they only restricted to music and videos?

Also, if I redeem these vouchers on my account (so that I have credit on there) and then use my iPhone to purchase stuff - will the cost come out of the vouchers that are credited to my account or will my credit card be billed..?!

Hi there

Yes, you can use the iTunes vouchers to buy anything on the itunes store including appstore apps.

When purchasing using your iphone the cost will come out of the vouchers. As soon as you redeem the voucher anything you buy on the store will use the credit from the voucher until it has insufficent funds left, and then it will use your credit card to pay.

Hope that answered your questions
