Bread and Butter Pudding, and variations thereof
I've got a brioche loaf and want to make something along the lines of a bread and butter pudding with it... perhaps with an interesting twist.
Any ideas? + any tips on making the b&b pudding in general as I've never made one before. |

I put in
Orange juice or liqueur Advocaat Mixed Spice Vanilla Softened apples Jam Chocolate Rum Baileys Hazelnuts Almonds Amaretto Not all in same pudding I used a rock hard ciabatta and it softened a treat I put mixed eggs and milk into a bowl of cut bread, add sugar and flavouring. It is like an oven version of eggy bread. |

In the end I made it with raisins (obviously) and orange zest / orange juice.
Also put in a little drop of vanilla extract with the liquid ingredients. It was lovely

I think that would be too... I dunno... 'squdgy' for me.The bread and butter + eggy filling is quite sweet and moist itself... adding banana and chocolate would be too much for me! |
