Download flash games for portable devices?
I have a Arhos 5 internet media tablet and i love it. But it doesn't have any included games. You can buy packs but the packs are either a bit rubbish or a bit expensive.
I was wondering if it was possible to download any flash games so i can play them on the device without an internet connection. I have searched but couldn't find much. Any help will be great, thanks. |

Don't you need Flash Lite 3.1?
Not sure where you can get Flash games from for download to be honest. Playing them in a web browser is great enough but for portable devices, I think Flash is something where development is a concern. I'm not sure how much potential it has to be a good mobile platform. It is one of the problems I am having at the moment. I'm meant to be doing a project using Flash to create a mobile phone application. To me, it looks limited in what is suitable for or what it can do. |

Wasn't trying to say anything bad about Flash, if you thought that. I just think that there are lack of developers for mobile Flash Applications and Games. If there were more people developing for this platform then you would have much greater chance of finding the type of games your looking for.
Your device should be fine as Flash is supported. |

Your device should be fine as Flash is supported. My problem is finding a site where i can download flash games so i can play them without an internet connection. But i only want games like Solitaire that can be played using a touchscreen. |

That's not how it came across in this post, you said they were very hard to get hold of, then you say you know exactly where to get them!?

got the 60GB version. Haven't got any plug-ins yet, thats one of the only downsides really, you have to buy seperate plug ins to be able to watch every type of video. On its own it will still play videos like AVI but i don't think it plays MPEG and similar video files. I do love it though, it looks great ![]() bought a protective case for it which should be here soon, the Archos looks great but suffers from fingerprints. |
