I currently have my line rental with Virgin Media. I know a while ago there used to be phone companies who use to offer cheaper calls.

So basically you pay your line rental to BT/Virgin and your call charges go through another company. Is this still available?

With a BT line, you could have a CPS calls provider but, with a cable line, your options are extremely limited.

Probably your best bet is to use 1899 and/or 18185 and/or 18866 and/or www.zerop.co.uk for your non-inclusive 01/02/03 calls (you won't be able to use the prefixes but you should be able to use their gateway numbers).

This might be better, you plug a box into your phone line and it dials a prefix code to get you cheaper calls http://www.superline.co.uk/residential.html

.............which'll be of no use to you because they offer CPS calls packages - only available to those paying line rental to BT.

"AutoDiallers for BT & Cable telephone lines:
Rather than dialling the access codes for BT or Cable phones you can request a SuperLine AutoDialler which will route all appropriate calls to SuperLine."

kinda helps if you read the page before jumping onto the thread to relpy
