It was a brilliant routine, and harder than last week. It deserved sixes, but I have to say I'm not bothered about the .5 - gives him something to aim for.

I thought he deserved a perfect score both weeks.

Still can't stand the chap though.

I vastly preferred this week to last week.

For fe*k sake ... why do we have to have personal opinions come into every thread about Ray!!!!!!

He was awesome again tonight and fully deserved another perfect score. What did Jason mark him down for?

I preferred this week too as it was more memorable, but I still think the scores were justified.

I dont know if he was pushed too hard, but I preferred last week's performance. This weeks was too frenetic and came across as messy at times - however I will allow that may be down to inferior camerawork; at one point they dropped Ray out of shot completely and we were left watching Maria alone

Loved it again this week and was really annoyed that for once Holly didn't ask Jason about his score - we get his drivel on all the others when perhaps he has nothing but vitriol to spout but this time when there is nothing obvious to merit the mark down we don't get to find out why - so annoying.

I actually thought that Ray's performance was better than last week's if that's possible. Ok, I know it was only a measly half a point less, but I would have been interested in hearing Jason's reason for not giving him a 6 this week. I was half expecting them to come to him and for him to tell them he'd pressed the wrong button...Oh well..perhaps we'll find out!

Because it's preferable to expletives creeping into threads?

I thought the energy and difficulty this week was higher than last, and he was spot on with his required element, and performed them more accuratly than last week.

I agree - it was the most obvious thing to happen - but no...

Yeah I thought that too.

There were much more difficult steps too this week, it was a lot faster and he actually improved!

Yes, why didn't Holly ask Jason to justify his 5.5?

He was better this week I though. It was far more memorable.

Jason just explained it.
Something about the height when doing the rock and roll

-30 for the total disregard he shows his partner.

Yeah, I would have to agree with 29.5.
Ray is amazing to watch but in his speed and overactiveness, he didn't clear the height on the lift and it was very half hearted, the others would get marked down so they have to here.
In terms of his partnership, it works so well when the song is slow but when we have a faster song, Ray sort of becomes an individual in my eyes and Maria just is doing the same somewhere else on the ice. We are here to see both of them and so I would mark down for that in the future.
However, amazing score and routine for Ray.

But isn't that just another sign of how good he is that T&D choreograph a routine like that?

Did you actually watch the show?
Or is it just me who has no idea of what you are talking about?
