Given that it is widely accepted they have the tougher job (because they actually have to skate unaided) isn't it weird the way the male celebs are going down like flies.

It looks like Donal might be in the frame tonight so we could end up with 5 women vs Ray next week.

The judges aren't adjusting their marks to allow for this added difficulty.

Support for Donal seems to be gaining momentum (thank god!) so I'm hoping he'll be safe.

I don't care which sex goes, but I would like to see some fairer marking. There is no way on earth that Donal was weaker than Coleen or Roxy (and that's after taking his mistake into consideration).

As you say, it's harder to present your partner (as the men have to do) than to be presented (as is the case for the females) and this should be reflcted in the scores.

I do think it's a little ridiculous that Zoe this week is only doing about as much solo skating as Ellery managed 3 or 4 weeks ago. And yet her scores are roughly 5 points higher.

Yes but I there are worse culprits - Roxy and Coleen barely let go of their partners.

At least with Zoe you see faster skating even if it is assisted much of the time.

If we were likely to be down to the final 5 men and 1 woman left it would be a completely different story and no doubt the forum would be up in arms about sexist voters, tweenie voters etc even though tweenie voters probably don't watch

Because apart from Ray they are not very good? It makes a nice change from other reality shows where the girls all go first.

Its not more difficult per se - its just easier to do at a very basic level if you do nothing and are carried than if you skate and do nothing. None of the boys bar Ray is as good as Zoe or Jessica at anything and thats what the marks have said. Melinda and Roxy are easily as good as the males who have gone. The males are going because they ranged from very poor to not very good at all with Ray light years ahead. The girls range from weak to OK with a couple reaching quite good.

The only problem is Colleen who lingers despite being worse even than a lot of the males - thats probably just fan bases working out.

For me Donal is just as good as Zoe. It was a shame about the mistake from Donal tonight.

I did notice that Zoe lost balance quite a few times and she was forcing her weight backwards so she could have easily ended up on her backside.
