Melinda and Fred have been delightful since Day 1 and the Journey she has came on has been wonderful to watch. 
I will miss them hugely!

I think she was generally recieved well by the public but she just didn't get the votes because Coleens personality is bigger and Zoe (and Jessica, although she was on the skate off tonight) are better skaters. I hope she doesn't leave thinking she isn't hated by the public, which she isn't.
Agree 100% her exit tonight gave me no joy at all. She'll be missed. Thought she conducted herself brilliantly. No whinging, no whining, took all the criticism and worked it.

I really like Melinda, she seemed genuine and sweet. I shall miss her very much.

I'm actually quite upset about the results show - didn't think I was that bothered about DOI, obviously I care more than I thought I did.

Really sad to see Melinda go! She was so nice and honestly deserved higher marks for her performance tonight . Hope she's proud of all she did because she was improving week by week!

I thought Melinda did really well, and tonight was definitely her best skate, but clearly she isn't popular with the viewers to end up in the bottom 2 4 times.. She was extremely gracious in defeat.
I like Colleen but she should have been in the bottom 2, possibly with Donal - as much as I like him as well. And Colleen should have gone.

Melinda was excellent tonight, and shouldn't have gone. She can leave happy with how she performed - the competition will be poorer without her.
Everyone on the show really seemed to like her, the judges were almost apologetic in sending her home...
I think she was undermarked for her performance tonight. A few of the judges scored her a 3.5, but also gave the same mark to Coleen. To me there was a marked difference in their performances.
Once Melinda was in the skate-off with Jess, it was the right decision for Melinda to go, however I don't think either of them should have been in the skate off. The public will vote for who they want, I just think it's a shame we've lost someone who should have been in for a few more weeks.

I'm sure she'll be in the audience at some point and all the contestants usually make an appearance in the final. So she'll probably still be able to pick up any fanmail.

She deserved to stay for longer
I liked her smile when she was faced with Jessica. In some ways I suspect it's so much easier to know that you have no chance whatsoever. The certainty certainly seemed to make her relax and perform better in the skate-off. She probably saw it as a farewell dance rather than a competition dance.

Melinda was lovely and has such a great personality which is why im suprised she kept getting in the skate off, lesser skaters had lasted because of their personality so why not melinda?
I could not believe some of the judges marked her and Colleen the same.
Well done Melinda, you left the show with dignity, grace and on the back of a great performance!
