Mind boggling that Melinda was in the 'skate off' four times.I don't think she deserved to be in the skate off,at ANY of those times.I know she's not THE best skater, but no way has she ever been one of the two weakest skaters of the week - yet the public put her there four times !
She came across as likeable too,and I thought that would have got the public on her side.

I really liked Melinda too, I didn't expect to. I was surprised throughout the series how much the judges and public had a downer on her. She has a very professional attitude, what a breath of fresh air.

I feel it's a shame she didn't get the public behind her, because in no way should she have been in the skate-off so many times with far worse skaters/performers on the show. I don't agree that the judges had a downer on her though, I thought they were very encouraging with her.

I just don't understand why the viewers kept putting Melinda in the bottom two. She wasn't the best but certainly wasn't the worst of the skaters.
It was sad when she said "I may as well get the flowers now" when she had to do yet another skate off.
She is such a lovely woman as well.

I hope Melinda doesn't think she is unpopular amongst the Public. She has many fans, including myself, and it wouldn't surprise me if Melinda thought she was disliked after four skate-off's!

Sad to see her go, she didn't deserve to.

If you had swapped Melinda with Rox's partner she'd still be in. It's only Dan that's keeping Rox in because the public vote for Dan.

She was so lovely on This Morning, and Jason was lovely to her as well - which was nice! I'll miss her being in the competition, I looked forward to her performances, especially the lifts her and Fred did.

I did enjoy the funky steps they did, like the one where the slides the skates on the ice back and forth. She did do some funky moves last night

I think it was one of their best performances & she showed progress last night, so it is a shame she's gone. It was an enjoyable routine this week & they both seemed to enjoy it. There's an interview on the ITV site (if you can get that damn ITV player to work) with Fred & Melinda & they seemed really positive which was lovely!

I think Melinda was in the classic vulnerable position of having fewer fans/votes than many of the others, and being upper/middle of the leader board most weeks. I do think however that she was a little undermarked last night and think Fred was right to point out (without any petulance on his part) that they do put a lot into their routines compared to some of the other couples.

I wonder which skater will get Melinda's votes now.... hope it's not Coleen!!!

I have enjoyed Melinda & Fred's partnership, they worked well together and I always looked forward to their routines.
Last night was her best routine yet, I was sad that she is out now, but glad she left the competition on a high note.

You could tell she tried her hardest, she was getting better as the weeks went by, she managed to do some great tricks and those high lifts as well, she should be proud of herself, most of all her lovely personality shone through on her performances, what a lovely lady she is.

Would just like to say as no chance before, how much I enjoyed Melinda, she did some lovely routines and a prop 2 weeks before everyone else! And she came across a really warm nice positive and hard working lady. Am a bit ***sed off with the bottom 2 to be blunt. I have always defended the public's right to vote as they please but Sunday really took the biscuit somewhat. I'm not sure what the housewife brigade could have had against Melinda. Or Jess for that matter. Ridiculous.

Anyway, well done Melinda, and I'm really pleased that you'll be doing the tour according to thread.
