I mean they like him because he has been on 'the journey' and sorry, but he is hunky and attractive - and modest too.

He has gradually grown in popularity and that's why he is the dark horse imho

It's not the olympics. Popularity plays a huge part in these shows and jess and I suspect zoe aren;t as popular as the others.
Zoe didn't do too well in celebrity fame academy, then again she's a better skater than she was singer.

Whether she avoids skate off next week will be interesting, but alot depends on what happens, if roxy or someone falls over it would probs mean shes safe, but i do see a skate off with jess in the offing soon (sob at losing matt)

I think Zoe got on a lot of people's nerves as well when she was on It Takes Two supporting Gethin Jones - she was clearly dying to do this kind of show.

That Celebrity Fame academy series was absurd - although in support of your point it was absurd in the same way as Colleen topping the poll here - that the hopeless ones stayed whilst the ones that could sing went. It also went wrong in that series when no one was outstandingly good - in the previous series, where they had 4 good and 2 "interesting" singers those 6 all got to the last 6. Perhaps you need to be really good to avoid being beaten by someone truly bad with a fan base?

Popularity does play a big role in series 1 of DOI but its in decline by now in series two and three as the people who can perform get more votes. Perhaps people have given up as its a foregone conclusion this time?

Not sure at all where Roxy and Zoe are or how far Donal is ahead or how many people are voting or if you only get votes from people who think you need saving. If DOI has the younger audience its meant to have Zoe should be doing better and Colleen should be doing much worse than their equivalents on SCD.

Next week will test Roxy's vote so we may know more.

I think Zoe's performance was greatly helped by the song choice which gave her skating a lift - you can't look shy when skating to that number - and the dynmaic start to her routine. take that away and it was really just a good average.

I think we might see Jessica flip over Zoe if this week mobilises her supporters - if she has any. It worked for Rachel Stevens, Alesha Dixon etc on SCD. Didn't work quite so well for Lisa Snowdon, who had no supporters to mobilise.

I'd imagine Roxy would have a far bigger fanbase than zoe to be fair, and who out of the younger audience is voting for zoe? Coleen has alot of the housewifes vote, Do younger people really know zoe? I'm young and I'd see the likes of Roxy and Coleen and know them far better than Zoe. Young kiddies who wached blue peter would know her but they dont vote and she wouldnt be that known to young adults.
I think that your vote psychosis, barring someone falling over would be pretty accurate, though for next week as you said lots of people may vote jessica if they didnt this week because they thought she was safe, so zoe could be at the bottom, but even with that new vote jess would probs still be second from bottom
