After the skate off all the judges have to do is say who they want to save. Jason decided this was a good time to insinuate that Jessica had no personality.
I didn't think he meant it like that. I think he was insinuating that the public are voting on personality rather than skating ability, hence the likes of Coleen getting through. Whereas the judges have the chance to put the best skater through.
Well compared to the other girls; Zoe, Coleen, Roxy and Melinda she is the most bland, even skating near the end she still manages to be in the skate-off. She will probably be doing cart wheels next week to show that she can be more bubbly.
Judging by everything Jason said is was clear he was making the point that the judges don't vote on personality - unlike the public. I.E. these 2 performers were only in the skate off because the great British Public thinks keeping in "chirpy" (but untalented) Coleen is a better option!
OP - I think you misinterpreted what Jason said, although I must admit he wasn't very clear!
Funnily enough, this was the first time I engaged with Jessica. She felt that music as she danced and I felt it with her.

Me too. She starts talking and she's like the duracel bunny, goes on and on and on and on etc etc
