Not even James deserves to be lumbered with that prospect

I think she'd be more likely to quit actually - that woman can't cope with anything that is in the least bit difficult. It would almost be worth it to see James make mincemeat of her - I repeat almost. I can't think of a worse person to do it - I remember when some people were having a go at Matt DA and thinking if you think he's a whiny brat you've never seen her in action.

Just because there is someone worse doesn't mean the word doesn't apply to anyone else!

I think it would be quite amusing, once, to see her reaction to a bad comment from Craig! But a definite no to her appearing.

According to the People newspaper today other names linked to the show are Chris Moyles and the Cheeky Girls

Just googled their heights- Chris is 5ft 9 - so Flavia or Lilia maybe

Cheeky girls are 5ft 6 each - so Brian and James maybe

I'm sure i read somewhere during the week that a Cheeky Girl won the Romanian version of Stricly and the other one was runner up ... surely that would rule them out (thank god) as they will have had so much dance training already

Henry Winkler...Erin Boag (although Kristina was waxing lyrical about what a nice guy he is, could come back to haunt her!)

Felicity Kendall/Elaine Paige (one or the other, won’t have both as too similar age wise etc)....Anton Du Beke. Or, if Anton is handed the presenting job, Corky could take this slot and Ian take over Sharon.....

Natalie Imbruglia.....Matthew Cutler (she’s a neighbour, so travelling to the rehearsal halls/studio isn’t an issue!)

Sharon Osbourne.....Corky Ballas (he keeps saying he wants to dance with someone his own age).

Katie Price.......James Jordan (fireworks, yeah baby)

Louise Redknapp.....Darren Bennett

Vernon Kaye....Hayley Holt (to make up for her being totally over shadowed in the last serie, because of the Tess link it would generate interest)

Robbie Williams.....Kristina Rihanoff (he is now based in the UK, with an album in the works, his last bombed so it would be of benefit to him to generate a bit of good PR). Potential of lots of PR for both of them......

Judy Finnigan......Brian Fortuna (although he should be given a feisty younger dancer, I cannot think of anyone prepared to jump onto the Strictly ship, unless they went slightly older and got one of All Saints).

Justin Lee Collins (he has lost a lot of weight for a reason).....Karen Hardy (or if Karen decides it’s time to quit, or move to the judges chair in place of Arlene, they might bring Nicole Cutler back)

Richard Madeley....Ola Jordan (although she is due a good one, cannot think of who!)

Ray Quinn/Peter Andre/Jack Osbourne (to add a mother/son twist to the mix)....Flavia Cacace

Konnie Huq .......Brendan Cole

I think Ian and Vincent will be out this year

I saw that too. I am really hoping that this means they can't be in the BBC version.

She does't need to revive a career that has so far been very successful. Shes done a lot of stage work since 2003 and recieved very good reviews. Anyway its all irrlevant cos she is getting married in Decemeber and that is far more important then SCD, and shes got a young baby. Plus I don't even think she wants to do such a show.
And having met her on a number of occasions I can say shes lovely and not at all false or boring.

Dunno who I'd like to see on there tbh, tho getting one of GA on would be interesting, esp with Cheryl being on X Factor!

I read the Chris Moyles rumour too. Although I'm not a fan, I think he could be quite entertaining. My only concern would be another possble block voting campaign like the JS one last year. Hmmmmm, not sure.

Cheeky Girls rumour has been around for quite a while now, but , please please noooooooooo! I don't think I'd be able to watch, even for my favourite pros.

Chris's jive might be interesting

And if we are to get the Cheeky Girls - how about Brian and James as their partners

Just laughed out loud at the thought of that jive

I'm sure Brian would be absolutely charming, whoever he got as a partner.

I have a new respect for James, having seen how he was on the Tour, but he might find a cheeky girl a bit of a challenge

He is/was heavily involved in DWTS; danced with Cloris in a recent series. He trains a lot of their dancers, is the dad of Mark, raised Derek Hough and his sister, and alleged ex of KR. Since his three kids are moving away from DWTS, towards their music, he may be dragged over here since he has links in London. (Although, if Mr Cowell is really working on a Saturday Night Fever remake no doubt Mark Ballas will go for it, in which case Ballas Snr would stay in LA....) Time will tell!

Your neighbour or Matt C's neighbour ??

Until we know the pro's doing this year's SCD it's hard to second guess who will be paired with who.......

I think Brian is guaranteed back in and i'd defo pair him with Kara Tointon or someone very similar,he was/is very popular and the BBC will want him in as long as possible.

Matt C,mature lady Judy F type, but then i said that last year.......

I think Alan Carr would be a total hoot,Justin Lee Collins used to do the ITT type show years ago......

I have LOVED reading everyone elses posts, gave me a laugh
I will try and be as realistic as possible here, and I don't particularly love all these people just what I think would be a decent variety

Sharon Osbourne & Brian Fortuna (Cannot wait for sharon)
Katie Price & James Jordan (Fiesty pair!)
Emma Crosby & Darren Bennett (He deserves a proper lady after last year)
Catherine Tate & Anton Du Beke (Completely random)
Natalie Cassidy & Vincent Simone (Seems realistic)
Ruth Langsford & Matthew Cutler (2 Great partners in a row, but I like her)
Kelly Rowland & Brenden Cole (Rumours last year about her)
Zara Phillips & Ian Waite (Same with zara)

Jeremy Vine & Erin Boag (Big fan of eggheads haha)
Richard Madley & Camilla's Replacement (No doubt the cringe of the cast)
Adrian Chiles & Lilia Kopylova (Guranteed favourite of mine)
Alan Carr & Hayley Holt (Bring out Hayley a bit more)
Eamon Holmes & Karen Hardy (These could either be great friends or the opposite)
Nigel Harman & Kristina Rihanoff (Girls love him, she needs a less controversial partner)
Chris Moyles & Ola Jordan (I dislike both of these so would be fun to watch)
Lemar & Flavia Cacace (This could help Lemar career wise, and with madley around would probably prevent a first night eviction for flav)
